MCA of Texas was founded in 1957 as a federation of local, affiliated
associations. The objects and purposes of the Association are:

The sponsorship of more modern, adequate and safe plumbing, heating,
piping, refrigeration, ventilating, air conditioning, process piping, power
piping, waste or water treatment, air and water pollution control and related
work.

The education of the public concerning safe and economical plumbing,
heating, piping, refrigeration, ventilating, air conditioning, process piping,
power piping, waste or water treatment air and water pollution control and
related work.

The continuance of stability in employer-employee relations in the
plumbing, heating, piping, refrigeration, ventilating, air conditioning, process
piping, power piping, waste or water treatment, air and water pollution control
and related work.

To carry on institutional advertising, public relations programs and
promotional activities for the good of the public and the plumbing, heating,
piping, refrigeration, ventilating, air conditioning, process piping, power
piping, waste or water treatment, air and water pollution control and related
industries.
